Timings: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM (Alternate Saturdays on).
- To act as Curriculum Owners of their respective subject.
- To manage the consistency of material circulated in the classrooms.
- To conduct formal classroom observations of subject teachers.
- Own and lead ECAT/BCAT/MDCAT preparation at the college.
- Lead continuous improvement conversations with the Manager Student Development.
- To own progress and performance of students in the subject they lead.
- To devise & review curriculum outlines and brief teachers upon the flow of the curriculum.
- Devise and implement periodic checks to ensure timeliness in course coverage.
- Prepare & review lesson plans to be implemented in classes.
- To devise & review assessment & assignments.
- To look for the best material to be taken in classrooms and finalize all such material to be compiled with the other subject teachers.
- To ensure completeness of the material provided.
- To lead the team with example and conduct sessions with them where they can identify areas of growth for themselves.
- Compile and/or devise material that can help students achieve good results in ECAT/BCAT/MDCAT and ensure admissions for students in top tier Engineering universities.
- To conduct practical classes and manage labs with respect to the needs of the curriculum.
- To champion the conversation with the Manager Sciences in order to discuss and implement all requirements of the subject and ensure smoothness of curriculum.
- To conduct weekly meetings with subject teachers and ensure standardization of lectures being delivered and material shared with the students.
- To prepare and submit progress reports to the Manager Student Development with respect to curriculum covered, papers devised, material shared and student progress on monthly basis.
- To re-assess randomly the test papers checked by subject teachers and provide them timely feedback and raise red flags with the manager whenever necessary.
- To devise remedial plans for weak students and share it with the subject teachers and Manager Student Development.
- To conduct classroom observations of subject teachers twice and at least two observations of other Subject Leads/Program Coordinators annually.
Required Skills
- Excellent written & oral communication.

- Technologically sound (good knowledge related to MS Word, Powerpoint/Canva, Google forms, Zoom, Google classroom etc.)
- Interdisciplinary knowledge and content.
- Pedagogically sound.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and work on own initiative.
- Understand college roles and responsibilities as a post holder.
- The ability to identify own training and development needs.
Education
Masters in relevant subject (preferable) OR Bachelors (16 years) in relevant field.
Experience
3 years’ experience.
